I don't think this is a duplicate of bug 277211. I tried turning my bluetooth off and on without success. Also, it used to work in Feisty, and worked fine after I did dist- upgrade to Intrepid. It stopped working after a later upgrade (I'm not exacty sure which). My bluetooth adapter is listed in

It seems the bug is gone (at least in my case), I can't crash the machine. I wanted to check what's the bug status, so I removed the kernel parameter pcie_aspm=off from /etc/default/grub, did sudo update-grub, rebooted, checked dmesg log that pcie_aspm=off is really not activated, then pulled off
