I also experience this kind of freeze. It appears quite often when I'm using
compiz. It freezes, but the mouse can move.
Then I turned off compiz, and upgraded mesa, xserver, intel driver, and kernel
to the very up-to-date git version.
It worked for two days without freeze, until this afternoon
I experience the same problem. Every time I change some item of bookmark, I
have to do a backup. Otherwise the changes are discarded after restart of
firefox.

Right now, mew-beta depends on emacs | emacs22 | emacs21。
Please add an optional dependency on emacs-snapshot so that a system with
emacs-snapshot installed can install mew-beta without install emacs22 et etc.

In Karmic, since upgrade of totem and gstreamer a few days ago, totem
can no longer play rmvb files.
There's no error or warning messages, even invoked with --debug option. It
simply doesn't play.
I've gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-plug
I can play rmvb files with gst-lauch, but not with totem.

In my Karmic, although I set all font sizes as 10, qt apps always display a
smaller font that gtk apps.
After some investigation, I found that the DPI setting in gnome is 96, but
$ xdpyinfo | grep reso
resolution:94x94 dots per inch
$ xrdb -q

After a recent upgrade to qt 4.7.0 beta1, qterm does not work properly.
Chinese characters are totally corrupted.
I tried a 32bit build and it works properly, probably because the ia32-libs
still provides a 4.6 versio
