Less tired tonight - I used the terminal to check the print job data-
both the spool and the pdf file are the same. I also tried every
possible sharp driver. No luck. I keep googleing other people with the
same problem and haven't found an answer.

Till - There is nothing in the error log. The spools are the same as
the originals.
I have two printers listed in print manager. generic-pcl-6 and the
Sharp. When I need to print I click the generic, go into gedit and
print a blank page (tired of wasting paper and ink). Then I click the
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cups
I am printing to a Sharp AR-207 Digital copier. Printing on 9.10 works
with no problems. When trying out the 10.4.1 and 10.10 CDs I might be
able to print on about 1 out of every 10 reboots (installing the sharp
driver each time).

I tried it again and there was a "d" file. It said it was a pdf file
that I was unable to open.
