Till - There is nothing in the error log. The spools are the same as
the originals.

I have two printers listed in print manager. generic-pcl-6 and the
Sharp. When I need to print I click the generic, go into gedit and
print a blank page (tired of wasting paper and ink). Then I click the
Sharp driver and can print anything I want with any program. If I turn
the printer off and on I must do the generic/Sharp driver thing to get
it to print. If I do a warm boot without turning off the printer, It
prints with the Sharp driver. If I leave the printer on and turn the
computer off and on, I prints with the Sharp driver.

I had no problems printing on 9.10.
