Well, not solved for me.
The test within gstreamer-properties works just fine. Also the webcam
gives me a nice picture in Ekiga.
But in cheese it just stays dead. Not even the Terminal does give any
output.
I got it working.
I changed the WPA-key in my router.
After that everything worked fine.
I have no clue why it did not work with the old one. I more than triple checked
it.
Also it did not work with an upgraded 8.04 machine where the WPA-key must have
been correct.
Anyway, try setting a new WP
Same bug here with WPA.
Unencrypted connects just fine.
This is on a Dell XPS m1330 with Intel 4965.

Your PPA Package did not solve the issue for me. I still cannot play DVDs on my
Dell XPS M1330 running Jaunty amd64.
Totem gives me a "Could not read from Source"-message.

Sorry for the 4th message in a row, but Totem actually gives an error
about not having permissions to open the file or it just locks up and
says nothing.

I have only found one DVD where it works.
Terminal output as follows and it works fine with menues and everything.

The Terminal just gets flushed with this real fast.

After digging a little further through my shlef of DVDs it seems like
different DVDs give different errors and only a few (two to be exact,
which are very old) actually work.

It does work if I hit the "skip to next title"-button on my laptop (Dell XPS
m1330) or in the right-click menu in the notification area (Rhythmbox icon in
panel).
However, it does _not_ work when it is just automatically skipped to the next
song.

Have the libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 landed yet?
The version I have here is 0.10.24.3-1
Sound-Juicer rips Audio CDs just fine. Rhythmbox does not.
Let me know if you need any more info.
