I can confirm 1.16.1-1 of mate-netbook and mate-netbook-common fixes the
problem of only one application icon showing.

backups sets. I cannot make any of that data available, but have tried
producing some /dev/urandom produced data files that exhibit the error

I recently had an instance of nrpe daemon from the nagios-nrpe-server
package stop responding even though ps and "service nagios-nrpe-server
status" showed it as still running. netcat showed he port as still
being open and accessible from our nagios server, but check_nrpe cal
This is still broken or a regression in 15.04.
I can duplicate original posters test and cannot move/arrange the
resulting file file with drag and drop on the Desktop.
