hidd, dund and pand binaries from bluez 3.x series have been deprecated
in favor of new bluez 4.x framework where things should "just work". If
you still need pand binary, try installing bluez-compat (from universe
repository).

yes, amarok does function, but introduces a regression compared to
earlier releases. Possibly other media devices are affected as well as
"dcop kded mediamanager fullList" call fails without the package or its
depends.

valgrind log when liferea and rhythmbox both are shooting new
notification bubbles for about 10minutes. I installed most of the
-dbgsym packages required for more detailed log.

There seems to be no way to safely remove an ipod using GUI in Hardy as
umount leaves the device in "Do not disconnect" state. Using eject from
console safely removes the hardware. This is regression from earlier
releases and will probably lead to a corrupt song database.

gnome-mount seems to fail with an error if ejecting a device instead of

xulrunner-1.9 changelog entries for more information:

I just ran into this issue when testing firefox-2 (2.0.0.13+1nobinonly-
0ubuntu1) in a lvm snapshot volume. The first install went without
problems. After purging the package and trying to reinstall the error
occured:
