Same here on a X60s, hdaps won't load, hdaps_ec which loaded in Hardy is
missing and tp_smapi loads but doesn't yield acceleration information. (At
least neither I nor hdaps-gl can find them)

I just discovered, that the sensor is not usable after I resume from a
"suspend to disk" (Fn-F12) but it is usable after a "suspend to ram"

I had the same problem on both of my systems, I upgraded both from Intrepid to
Jaunty Final.
The solution:
- remove the contents of ~/.cache/tracker and of ~./.local/share/tracker/data
- tracker-processes -r
- restart trackerd (in a shell with -v 2 to check)
- let the system index over night

hat to install nvidia-glx-180 and upon the next boot DKMS built a new module

This bugges me as well.
Another solution might be scaling the animation speed by the number of list
items, so that it always takes eg 1sec. That would give some optical feedback
of what's happening. (might look fancy if the speed behaves like a sine)
But it's hard to imagine the usability.

I just realized that there exists the possibility to use a 12h mode analogue
clock. But you can only choose in digital clock mode. The analogue mode
disables the check box, but respects its setting.

Actually I can change virtual terminals using Alt-F[1-6], but you shouldn't try
to change to the X-server (Alt-F7) because this will hang your system.

The hour hand of the analogue clock is displaying complete nonsense. Right now
it is 15:09h (GMT+1), both the clock in gnome-applet as well as tha digital

Weird, now at 23:18h the clock is more or less correct. (the hour hand
seems a bit fast, but in general correct)

Would be nice to be able to switch to the usual 12h format, because I'm
not used to 24h clocks. This makes it really hard to read and thus takes
away the big advantage that analogue clocks have.

acpi_listen yields the same result, however pressing Fn-F3 now shows a
libnotify-message with the energy information.
Fn-F12 now starts nautilus, which might be useful, but is not exactly what I
would expect.

Using the script from the PR fixed it on my client. However, when
installing squid-deb-proxy-client on the server that is also running
squid-deb-proxy then the original apt-avahi-discover script emits the
mentioned warning but otherwise works fine. But the script from the PR
results in the followin
