@concertedrxn Success!!! I have been able to suspend/resume without a kernel panic and have the interface working. I reconfigured my script in /etc/pm/sleep.d to instead start|stop networking services using pm-utils hooks (see attached). This along with the suspend_modules file fixed the problem.
