sorry for the lack of info.
In my case it happens after a few minutes of using skype, can be
launched from the terminal or clicking in the icon.
If I do it from terminal the error I get is

It seems that the apturl protocol-handlers are not added to the default
preferences, so when clicking on an aptURL, epiphany doesn't know how to
handle it (and opens an ugly dialog box asking the user to choose an
application).
Adding the correct handlers seems to correct the problem. I added the

with jaunty I'm getting "there were no valid VPN secrets". openvpn
connects ok from command line.

Np (although I cannot remember Matvey's request, who knows...), not using
