Still an issue (Ubuntu hardy just upgraded), but on a different way.
Effectively there's no more delay 'enumerating' certificates, but still
there's are some trouble or at least things that i cannot explain. For

I've just upgrade the BIOS to latest, with still no luck.
But now i've noted that i have added to boot options 'lapic': probably
some times ago, i never minded it; removing it made boot work again.
Now it is up to you because it worked with 'lapic' before -26 kernel
version...

server via ldaps:// URI (so, using SSL) but i've got strange delays.
Seems that a simple ``getent passwd'' start to `enumerate' all
certificates files and spend some time
I can confirm this bug, after an upgrade from dapper to edgy on my Thinkpad T23.
On dapper i've never had trouble browsing sites using flash.
I can confirm also that starting ffox with XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1
solve the problem.

After upgrade to feisty my IBM ThinkPad T23 stop hibernate, complaining
about invalid swap signature.
After triying some solution here proposed, i've simply put on /etc
/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume file not the UUID but the phisical
partition (/dev/hda2) and now my TP hibernate correctly.
