I seem to have been missing a few updates since beta. After installing
the latest updates as of today, I still experience the same problem as
before. However, the slight difference is that I could now ctrl-alt-f*
to another terminal and then return to vt7, at which point the keyboard
would start wo
So, I have installed Jaunty and installed the latest updates on the
duplicate Studio 15. This time, the laptop has a wireless interface and
it could connect to a wireless network. So, Tim was right and this was
simply a hardware problem as opposed to a compatibility problem. For
completeness purpos
I have another Dell XPS M1330 with Intel graphics controller where
hibernate and suspend both resume well. So, perhaps the problem might
strictly be related to the nvidia xorg driver.

Applications menu, nothing seems to get recorded. Even trying to
uninstall pulseaudio and rebooting doesn't seem to workaround the
problem.
