Sorry, but downgrading to usbutils_0.73 has not resolved the problem.
The USB malfunction of my LG X110 netbook seems to be kernel related.
Perhaps there is a different bug in the USB-utilities.

#Ernesto, thanks a lot for your advise. After blacklisting "uvcvideo" in
"/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf" the USB-ports of my netbook have been
functional again :-) Till now I have made several reboots with success.
My computer is also equipped with this bison webcam (ID 5986:0203) and I
can't find

I can confirm the loss of the suspend feature (suspend to disk and ram).
It seems that the usb-subsystem is blocking the suspend procedure. dmesg
output attached.

After the installation of karmic koala (beta) on my LG X110 Netbook I
was not able to access any USB-Devices. I made a complete update via
apt-get today but this did not help. The system worked fine with 9.04. I
attached the output of "lsusb", "lsusb

I forgot to mention that during the lsusb scan a memory stick and a
dvb-t stick was attached on the computer.
