What information do you need to investigate?
The DejaVu font has a condensed variant. You can check for this in gimp, for
example, although it is listed as
"DejaVu Sans Semi-Condensed" at this time.
You cannot select this font using the KDE font requester, though. You
can select DejaVu Sans, but
Well, zypres, at least your comment made me find a work around that works for
me:
It's sufficient to open the web shortcuts preferences panel of Konqueror, and
select something different from strigi as the default shortcut.
I've put google there, as I think it is the KDE default.
Another option
I fixed this problem (for the Italian language, obviously) by adding the
following line to the /usr/share/locale.alias file:
it_IT it_IT.UTF-8
Maybe something similar should be done for Spanish and any other
language that does not work. I'm not sure this is is the only (or the
best!) wa

I'm using kubuntu gutsy currently.
When I type an incomplete URL, or I forget the ":" in a web shortcut,

In Kubuntu Hardy, since yesterday my keymap has stopped working as

I have set up KDE so that the right alt and caps keys act as a compose key,
with the kcontrol module.
This should be equivalent to giving this command:

How
The problem seems to be related to an out-of sync Qt3 update, since my KDE4
console, built from sources work correctly.
Instead, if I run a kde program from a terminal, I get this kind of output:
/usr/lib/qt3/plugins/inputmethods/libqsimple.so: undefined symbol:

So, what's next? Patch dd to prevent it from wiping your partition?
There are infinite ways to wipe your root file system. There is little
value in adding a safety here, while a slight variation of the theme
would produce analogous damage.

the font can be selected in gimp as DejaVu Semicondensed, but it can not

Gnome users may not notice this; but KDE users are likely to have access

In upstream non c'è, perché non ci sono i pulsanti in questione. Per lo
