What information do you need to investigate? The DejaVu font has a condensed variant. You can check for this in gimp, for example, although it is listed as "DejaVu Sans Semi-Condensed" at this time.
You cannot select this font using the KDE font requester, though. You can select DejaVu Sans, but then the available variants are only Light, Light Oblique, Regular, Oblique, Bold and Bold Oblique.
