Binary package hint: cheese
When a philips webcam 1250 NC is connected to the laptop (MSI PR210),
and cheese is configured to acquire form this webcam, the video return
is not stabilized . Its look like it lags and can not success to display
a clear acquired image.

Same problem to me.
Nautilus hangs and then gives up with a "Could not register the application: È
stato raggiunto il timeout" message.
Workarounds;
$ Sudo nautilus keeps working.
Restarting Unity usually works, but I wouldn't consider it a solution.
I attach strace/ltrace.
