I can confirm the same as Tim.
I can add that in System -> Preferences -> Screen resolution, I'm offered
1440x1440 (among others). My laptop's screen native resolution is 1440x900. If
I choose 1440x1440 then my desktop is bigger than my screen.

I found a new issue in 2.0rc3: Suspend hangs my computer.
This is not an issue using xserver-xorg-video-i810 + 915resolution in Feisty.
It can be solved by setting USE_DPMS=false in /etc/default/acpi-support.

I've seen this error in Feisty Beta before suspending. After waking up, I end
up with no wireless (the wifi light in my laptop is turned off, trying to
enable it with hotkey doesn't work).
This happens sometimes only (with no apparent reason), so if i suspend ->
resume again, wifi is back.

Ok, to reproduce this problem, try this: set all your volume levels (Master,
PCM and LFE) to some middle level.
While playing some audio file, move the LFE volume control. Only the sound
level from your LFE is affected, your "front speakers" sound level is not
affected,

I'm sorry, i didn't notice that my manually applied changes to 25configure_init
didn't have any effect over /etc/event.d/tty*. I'm not sure how to test this, i
tried using chroot dpkg -i over uncompressed filesystem.squashfs and rebuilding
the cd, but still the same.
Anyway, this fix should work

According to the forums post, you have to create a script in /etc/acpi/resume.d
to restart powernowd (that sets your cpu power config to default, ondemand in
both cores in my case). Further instructions in the link in my previous comment.

Same here in my Dell Inspiron 9400 (Intel 945GM + 1440x900 LCD screen).
I was able to boot in graphical mode using "safe graphics mode" in Dapper, but
it no longer works in Edgy or Fesity Herd 1.
