Today I've tryed to switch my 802.11n access point in WEP security.
Again I was unable to connect so I confirm the problem came from the
fact that my access point is 802.11n (but 802.11g compatible) ...

Hello,
Today I give a try to the 4.8.0-41 kernel (from linux-generic-hwe-16.04)
and flickering affect this kernel !
So, I do an $( apport-collect 1663637 ) during the use of that kernel
and now I'll go back to 4.4.0-66 to restore a stable display.

Same here, but with Ubuntu French installation (from Fresh 12.04 liveCD
on PXE), French K750 keyboard, Dell latitude E6500 with integrated
French keyboard. I have installed my laptop with a dock station (laptop
closed on dock with external keyboard, screen and cable network).
LightDM, Unity and Gn
Problem fixed by running : 'dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration' and
choosing option :
- PC générique 105 touches (intl)
- Français
- Français - Français (variante obsolète)
