the disk check is scheduled or not. So right now, booting with a gui
it's not possible, and I must press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to boot through the

I can confirm this problem with a Dell Inspiron 1525 and using Ubuntu Intrepid
8.10 beta. Also, speed and acceleration of the cursor movement aren't "waking
up" properly.
I've noticed that by just opening the mouse preferences application from the
menu, the settings go back to normal.

Hello! I've been trying to use some projectors with my laptop, and with Hardy,
it was really easy. I just had to plug in the VGA cable, press the Fn+F8 key
(the one that switches CRT/LCD) and that was it. The resolution stayed a
untu 8.04, with the same hardware (using a Dell Inspiron 1525). Tried
disabling Compiz, but the result is the same. I've also tried re-
installing the package, and still the same.

After updating to hardy Totem player started to reproduce the movies in
