I have recently rebuild the following debian-multimedia mythtv packages:
- mythtv_0.19-0.10
- mythplugins_0.19-0.6
- myththemes_0.19-0.0
They all build cleanly in an edgy pbuilder. I have been using rebuilds
of slightly older versions of these packages on my dapper mythtv system
without problems f

Same here on a Matrox G550 with Sony Multiscan G420 monitor. Usplash
worked fine in dapper, but is hardly visible in edgy, at first I thought
usplash wasn't working at all. The default usplash resolution was
1600x1200, but I also tried 1400x1050 and 640x480 which didn't make a
difference.

My screen saver started crashing the X session every now and then on
Edgy. This doesn't happen every time the screen saver kicks in. I don't

So the fix was not released in Ubuntu, it was released in libfprint. But
the bug report indicates that it's released in Ubuntu, and not in
libfprint. That's why the bug report is being spammed; it says a fix was
released when it wasn't, and it's leading to confusion.

Originally I indicated that the problem occurred after suspend, but now

I used UNetbootin to put a Live version (daily build) on a flash drive.
I noticed that the pause menu popped up when my screensaver kicked in. I play
the game with a gamepad, and apparently gamepad input doesn't register as user
activity. I will test if in 8.04 it's also the screen
