My screen saver started crashing the X session every now and then on Edgy. This doesn't happen every time the screen saver kicks in. I don't think that in my case it is related to OpenGL because the screen saver is set to Blank screen. I get a very similar backtrace to the one above (except for the paths and the offsets):
