installation : Whan I try to remove the 2.15-22, I still get the message :

When Ubuntu finished its boot, "starting pbbuttonsd" operation is
notified as "failed", then, neither the keyboard nor the trackpad work,
only USB mouse with a very useful middle-click to paste the caracters I
need to
/etc/kernel-img.conf was removed effectively. I don't know how exactly,
yet I guess my brother did a dirty hack in my back.
Anyway, I reinstalled a Dapper and updated to edgy. The system is clean
now.
Thanks for all, I'm running 2.6.17-2. The report is closable/rejectable.

I don't know whether it's linked, but, booting, I get a "screen init
fail" and just before, a "bogl init error" or alike…
One thing that let me think tne computer works perfectly, that only the
creen is off, is that Rhtythmbox plays songs very well after wakeup…

Before the last update, I had three network devices :
- my broadcom / bcm /Airport Extrem eht1 wifi card.
- my wired Ethernet eth0 card.
- a modem, that I never use.
Now, Network-Manager* only displays the modem, and I get nom mor
USB-keys are no longer mounted too.
Halt log shows loding kernel modules errors.
All those issues appear after the kernel Linux update.
I guess all is linked.
I change bug report status.
I would appreciate a lot all advice to update my Edgy or adressing these
tremedous issue.

I know this comment is not constructive, but :
Such slowness or frivolity in bugs or whatever has first made me weary
about contributing and then quit Linux world to Mac OS X : the best
(dumb ?) consumer position with high quality usability, advanced
innovation, it just works out of the box and, w
sam's package installed with gdebi from Epiphany.

It's a Galeon/Epiphany (they had merged, hadn't they ?) report bug. The
features request want Epiphany to match the AdBlockPlus features.
I've tried Firefox, with Adblock+, it's great, dispite I rather want a
perfectly OS integrated gtk application. Galeon is a gtk application, with
an unmatchable
Compiz works fine. Bug solved.

After the Yaboot prompt, Yaboot tried to load Linux, as expected. Yet it
