I encounter a similar bug.
For me, Nautilus often requires a refresh before new files/folders show up.
This appears to happen only if the files/folders are created by an
external program (creating a file/folder in Nautilus correctly triggers
a refresh of the view).

I nominate that the dependencies be changed first, then we can resolve

It looks like the two lines that it is failing on are non-essential
unless you use the /dev/block/* or /dev/char/* symlinks, but this should

is also affected in exactly the same way using the r8180 driver on
Karmic. I can force the rate up, but it automatically drops to 1M on

The workaround I used is to add a script in the /etc/network/if-up.d
folder which forces the interface to raise its wireless rate to 54M.

I have received no feedback since I posted this last month. My curiosity is
whether this may be a weak ATI OSS video driver implementation issue exposed by
a 32bit/64bit conflict. The wine layer technically runs everything in 32bit
mode on a 64bit architecture running 3D against a 64bit driver

I found the answer. Apparently the implementation of projectedTextured
that WoW uses is broken in the 64bit drivers right now. It is already a
known issue. The workaround is to set projectedTextures to 0 in the WoW
Config.wtf file for now. This worked for me.

older version. It may be that the solution that was implemented to
solve those issues may not resolve this issue or may be aggravating it.
I believe this stems out of the new evdev input system that is in use in
newer desktops.
It seems to be resolved by replacing the cups configuration with the
default files. Then you need to log into the web administration system
as a user with sufficient rights on the box. It seems to make updates
you should probably use the user that has sudo and/or lpadmin rights.

I have run into this bug as well. I believe it comes from installing
the web version first, then later upgrading to the jaunty packaged
version for me. All I know is that the upgrade did not pull in the
package openoffice-java-common for me either. I have a Jaunty system
fully uptodate.

I haven't tried that, but as I understand it, they are tightly
integrated and it's the DRM module that is crashing the system anyways,
not the radeon driver piece, however the driver DOES need to be updated
to solve the problem too. The radeon package only contains the xorg-
driver loadable module
Correction to above. WoW OpenGL mode for wine works just fine with
these drivers with a few minor glitches: disappearing text inside
buildings and classic white minimap problem, but the D3D mode performs
equally well with less problems. The current drivers just hard lock the
system.

I am also receiving the same error. Using Jaunty fully updated. I do
not receive this error on Karmic, but on Karmic if jack is running it
segfaults for a different reason. It will run on karmic with jack

me. There is good news for the current upstream Mesa 7.9 and 7.10 ati
