Is adding the 0.4.x packages to dapper-backports an option? It seems that the 0.4.x versions are incompatible with the 0.3.x ones (at least I couldn't connect a 0.3.x gobby to a 0.4.x sobby). Since dapper is an LTS version, it will be around for awhile, especially on the server side. It would be
