the source package in REVU?
This isn't currently working due to broken dependencies in the ilbfaad
packages (and possibly others). I believe this is being worked on
(independently of this bug).

I figured it out by switching the video card; I found this was happening
due to my faulty Radeon X600 card. I switched the card with Radeon
HD3450, and my system never crash & reboot anymore.
This was hard to catch because the video card never caused any problems
