I am using gtk+3.4.1 + 043_ubuntu_menu_proxy.patch through indicator-
appmenu 0.3.2 + xfce4-indicator-plugin 0.4.0 on gentoo. The change in
043_ubuntu_menu_proxy.patch from 3.3.6-0ubuntu2 to 3.3.6-0ubuntu3 makes
the local menubar to be always visible, although the global menubar
works as well.

The segmentation fault occurs when index++ decodes a non-base64 part of
the email text using its base64 decoder. This can happen when a header
field is in a multi-line representation which contains a non-null
whitespace-only line. index++ misinterprets this type of line as the

I found that this problem occurs only if the external monitor has been
connected to the VGA port before boot. I can avoid the problem by
connecting the monitor after X starts up. My kernel is vanilla version
3.1.6 + tuxonice patch.

Let me attach another log of segfault and the output of dmesg. It
happened shortly after I changed the screen configuration between a
single monitor setup and a dual monitor setup back and forth a few times
using the xrandr command in a gnome-terminal. Again, there was no error
