Confirming this problem on a Dell Latitude D820. It does not happen all
the time though, only after 3-4 Suspend-to-RAM/Resume cycles.
'rmmod ipw3945', for example, says "ERROR: Module ipw3945 is in use"

The layout switching bug seems definitely related to Automatic login.
Prompted by Comment 55 above, I enabled Automatic login (System ->
Administration -> Login Window, tab Security). After reboot, layout

I'm experiencing this too. I have a Hardy beta system, upgraded from
