That's my thoughts. Also, I have to say I am

2. I installed the packages:
gstreamer-tools (0.10.36-1ubuntu1)
libglib2.0-dev (2.32.3-0ubuntu1)
libglibmm-2.4-dev (2.32.0-0ubuntu1)
libg
I tested the -proposed repository artwork updates in both 32-bit and
64-bit installations of Lubuntu 12.10, and they work.

User solution that works:
Edit the file /usr/share/themes/Lubuntu-default/gtk-3.0/settings.ini,
and change the value
from:
ntooltip_bg_color:#00
to: ntooltip_bg_color:#C0C0C0

Work around that works:
Install the package xarchiver.
Then go to File Manager's (PCManFM) Preferences->Advanced->Archiver
integration, and select "xarchiver".
