I have the same problem after upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy. Intel built-
in card on Sony VAIO VGN-FS115.
After apgrade Hardy didn't remove old Gutsy kernel and installed 386 kernel.
The problem with sound resolved:
sudo aptitude remove linux-image-2.6.24-12-386
sudo update-initramfs -k 2.6.24-12-g

The problem was solved by changing camera connection mode from
"Auto"(default) to "PictBridge" (Camera Menu: "PTP" /"PictBridge") . In this
case gphoto works. It copyes files from camera without problems. Only I
can't delete them using gphoto.

Daniel, I don't know. I use Nvidia 440.64 driver and it works. Also I
disabled animations. May be this is a reason.

When I was doing partial upgrade of 20.04 I saw many strings not translated.
I found them in ubuntu-release-upgrader translation. They were translated in
