Public bug reported: After upgrade to Ubuntu 19.10 I can't use latest recommended Nvidia driver for my Nvidia GeForce GT 735M from repository. Only old 340 and 390 driver.

Now in 19.10 adding ppa doesn't help. I see only old drivers. It seems my card is blacklisted in Ubuntu 19.10 for 415 driver and higher. I could only manually install 415 from Nvidia site which is recommended for my card by Nvidia. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 19.10 ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1849715 Title: Ubuntu 19.10 doesn't show latest recommended Nvidia driver for my card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1849715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
