It appears that this has been fixed in Natty. However, the workaround
from comment #2 must be removed in Natty, since the workaround seems to
have the opposite effect in Natty: it makes Natty unable to go to
hibernation properly (going to hibernation hangs).

applet. In Natty, this feature regressed and there's no such button in

Still a problem with Lucid. Even if this is actually a bug in Apple's
VNC server, it would still be worthwhile to provide a workaround, if
this can be worked around e.g. by sending extra activity to the server.
