Simply workaround. This disables the fadein/out effects for the dialog. Source

this is due to the format used in evolution to save the dates (maybe the number
of seconds since Jan 1 1970). When editing the information about a contact, you
must enter it in DD/MM/YY format, but
I have no time to spend joining any working group, so I attach some
changes that when applied to pidgin, should give pidgin-silc universe
source package.

I think you should split the actually rhythmbox package into a -dev
(includes and libraries, in order to build plugins against it) and one
-plugins containing the remaining plugins or maybe one package for each
pluggable plugin. In other way, could you include development head
i.e. header files. I want to build a "rhythmbox-liveice" package what
Build-Depends on rhythmbox-dev including .h files if is possible.

Skype (I know that it's not open source then debugging is so hard) won't
load and throws this segfault:

I can finally say that there is no bug (or maybe yes :-S) at
libfontconfig nor ia32-libs packages. Moving out $HOME/.fontconfig and
running skype again got it working.
I could attach a tar.gz of my old $HOME/.fontconfig if you want to debug
it.
