tube integration): /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.Vino.service
But the D-Bus configuration is not reloaded when installing the package. You

I was wrong, package shouldn't do anythin special. D-Bus is supposed to
watch the service directory using inotify and reload the config when it
has been modified.
Re-assigning to dbus as something went wrong when I installed the package on my
Jaunty.

Latest versions of xchat-gnome detect if libenchant is not installed and
display a message:
"In order to get spell-checking, you need to have libenchant installed with at
least one dictionary."
IMHO this message is not very intuitve for a basic user, so we can :
- Make libsexy depend on libencha
I don't think x-g uses this file and a quick grep in source code seems
to confirm that.
For others settings (channels, ...) that's very strange indeed.

There is a upstream patch to port the notification plugin to gtkstatusicon.
We're waiting than GTK+ 2.10 is shipped in major distribution to include it.
But maybe we could include it in Ubuntu's package.

It is true that Ubuntu seems to have misdetected my card and is using
vesa in X
But I repeat that the main problem is with the splash screen at the
startup (usplash), which to my understanding is using the framebuffer

Yeah, my patch was not a good idea, the proper way to do it will be to
implement some dcop calls into Adept but dcop doesn't work with kdesudo,
I'll try to patch kdesudo later.
