I confirm too. feisty fresh install (release version). Sometimes in a first
logging in my kde, knetworkmanager appears briefly in the systray and them
disappears (and it not connects to the wireless).
After logging again, it appears and connect.

Trying to save a .doc file. When clicking in "save", OOo closes and later on,
when re-opening offers to restore the file (it does, luckily). But it happens
some times that to save something in M$-Word 97/2000/2003 format, we have to do

Same problem here. I have a Dell Inspiron 1501, but unlike zasq, my
Bios has been 2.6.3 since Feisty, so that rules out the Bios I guess.
This started to happen when I upgraded to Intrepid. I use the 64 bit

Yes, sorry, I didn't know if there were other changes made when creating
the Kubuntu distribution.
Anyway, the good news is that I managed to fix it. Changing the GTK2
theme in KDE will only change it when using KDE, so I had to find a way
to do it for Gnome. I simply created ~/.gtkrc-2.

I have kindda fixed it. Interpid 64 bit here, changed a bit the glade
xml file to add an icon with a tooltip explaining the mount point is
based on /media/ and changed the code to display an error message if the
user enters a '/' in the Mount Point edit box.

I can confirm that this is also an issue on Ubuntu Feisty and Gutsy on
two separate machines.
Trying to change the papersize so that it will print in 4x6 photos does
not work.
The printer in question is a HP Photosmart C4100, but I doubt that this
is relevant. Any other info that I can provide to

dialog were disabled. I was able to fix things by doing the following:
# adduser cupsys shadow
# adduser gporcel lpadmin
# /etc/init.d/cups restart

Bug still present in Gutsy. Is it so hard to simply add the definitions
for time format from en_GB to es_*? They are quite ok and would be
appropiate for spanish (I use es_MX and they would be perfect).
