I've rebooted and I'm using now the old 3.8.0-27 kernel. Everything
works again, as expected. I've created some report files, I'm attaching
them so anyone can compare their content with the content of the files
that I've already reported (that were made when the 3.8.0-29 kernel was
used and so the

I just wrote "as the packages in the PC have no changed" because I have
booted with the 3.8.0-29 kernel, and then with the 3.8.0-27 kernel, and
that action has not changed the installed packages.

The computer is an OKI NB0508, although basically is a re-badged Quanta

It also happens to me in a laptop, although the mouse and keyboard don't
completely freeze, sometimes they work so slowly that it looks that they have
frozen.
I've got a CPU monitor in the screen, and when the almost-freeze happens, the
CPU monitor doesn't show any increase in the CPU
Sometimes I disconnect an USB device and then the problem temporally
disappears (instantly the mouse can go much faster, for example).
This happens to me at least with the kernels: 3.8.0-29, 3.8.0-27,
3.8.0-26, 3.8.0-25, 3.8.0-23, 3.8.0-22, 3.8.0-21, 3.8.0-19. Although
there's the possibility that
That "black screen with nothing but a blinking cursor in the top left
corner" also happens to me in a laptop with the 3.8.0-29 kernel, when I
reboot the system. It's always reproducible.
It never happens when I start the system and choose the 3.8.0-27 kernel.
