I fear, I have to reopen the bug (see attached screenshot). And I'm not
sure why the menu bar is supposedly switched off by default. In every
Korganizer version I've seen so far it was turned on, as in every other
KDE application.

On my dell i6400 the bug is in manual change (by keyboard special keys).
If I change brightness, this return at 100% after open gnome-power-manager or
Idle or other.
The workaround is set brightness in gnome-power-manager.

Just installed 8.04 beta and installed all patches as of 3/23/08. When
opening gdmsetup for the first time it takes ~60 - 90 seconds to open
and I get the following error messages in syslog:

After opening Empathy, the power icon next to your name in the upper
right hand corner is changed to a chat bubble.
If you close Empathy, the /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control-5 process
is still running even though you are not running Empathy.

Same error with radeon xorg driver. Compositing is enabled and direct
rendering also. Looking for a fix. I'm using Kubuntu 9.10.

that was it, I found the culprit, it was this extension:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1025/hide-overview-when-click-
overview/. Disabling it fixed my issues. Thank you, you can close this.
