not running after login.
Until "/etc/init.d/NetworkManager start", the network is unavailable. However,
the log clearly show, NM is started during boot but g

So no, the manual method is not good enough, if there's more than one program

I experience the same problem with karmic, even with WPA2-PSK disabled.
Is there maybe some sort of power-management that causes this problem? Still

Just on a sidenote: I got gpilotd working on 6.10. I deleted my config and
reentered everything. It worked for a few syncs, then started to kill my Z22
again or gpilot just hung itself up (had to kill it as it wouldn't react to
anything at all).

OK, this bug was caused by a changed behavior of lpadmin. After fixing the
Brother-driver to use a different command, it works (the PPD file got copied,
evince seems to need this file to get to know the printers features).

The splashscreen comes up and after a couple of seconds the system drop the the
initramfs with:

Running Xen 3.1 on gutsy, I have extreme network performance problems with the
domUs, tested in routed and bridged setup.
When downloading from the domU (e.g. via http), I get only 40 kB on a 100MBit
link.
I see "DUP Ack", "Retransmission" and "Previous segment lost" in wire
Additional information: After switching from vif-route to vif-bridge, at least
the domUs could communicate fast again, with vif-route, they were as slow as
the external link.
'ifconfig' also shows dropped packets for the vif* interfaces.

Running 'sudo ethtool -K eth0 tx off' in the domU fixes the problem.
Looks very much like a nasty an well hidden bug.
