That isn't what the article is saying. Huge pages are not swappable at
the moment. However Andrea's work splits huge pages into base pages for
a number of reasons, one of those is memory pressure that would force
part of the page to be swapped out.

but this sort of statement doesn't encourage me to suggest that route to
anyone. If the fix truly is to update to the newer version why can this

And there were no errors on restart of saslauthd or postfix
This output claims that sql is not a valid mechanism, but I passed
--enable-sql to the configure script
The problem showed on this machine after the Oneiric upgrade, the
information submitted was collected after a fresh install.

Unfortunately, I cannot run that old of a kernel and have X start. I
tried back to .37 (the oldest that will start X without hanging the
machine) and it still showed the problem. I will try .35 on the T61 and
see if it helps.

I have two machines: one desktop with an Asus P6X58D Premium motherboard
and a Lenovo T61 laptop that both show this problem and another desktop
with an Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard that does not. When I select
