I keep having problems after every reboot, with libasound2-plugins
1.0.17-0ubuntu4.
If, after boot, I do:
$ pulseaudo -k
$ rm -r ~/.pulse*
Then sound works fine.
Note that the login sound works fine after boot, but others (GStreamer
apps) don't. Perhaps it's not pulseaudio's fault but GStreamer,

I've done some basic testing with 0.6.2 without any issues.
The testing consisted in starting /usr/bin/baobab in the debugger,

Pedro looked at it and found that nautilus and gnome-panel couldn't be
started. That was because nautilus, gnome-panel, ubuntu-desktop and a
few more were removed from my system. So I'm marking this as a dupli
update-manager has removed ubuntu-desktop, nautilus and gnome-panel
here, making it impossible to start GNOME.

Wouldn't it be easier to fix this in an English translation, rather than
patching lots of files? (and this would have no effect as you are not
changing the .mo translation files, anyway)
