Hi Donald
Upgrades are only supported from one Ubuntu version to the next: from Breezy to
Dapper, from Dapper to Edgy...
But not from Breezy to Edgy. Surely that's the problem.
You can try to repeat it upgrading from Breezy to Dapper, and then from
Dapper to Edgy.

Hi zoidberg!
Beryl ins't in Ubuntu yet. Beryl-manager is, but as it depends in beryl-

package installed, you wouldn't have this problem, but it's
uninstallable nowadays.

What about this patch?
http://developer.momonga-linux.org/viewvc/trunk/pkgs/gnomebaker/gnomebaker-0.6.0-gmodule.patch?view=log
** Bug watch added: SourceForge.net Tracker #1622485
http://sourceforge.net/support/tracker.php?aid=1622485
** Also affects: gnomebaker (upstream) via
http://source
The problem is in the gnuchess dependencies:
provided by: gnome-games
So if you try to install gnuchess it will remove gnome-games.
However, gnome-games doesn't include gnuchess.

Hey Bogdan:
How have you put the desktop-effects-applet on the panel? I can't do
that now. I remember I done some time ago, but I'can't do it anymore.

Thanks Bogdan.
I remember I also had that applet, but I haven't got it anymore. I can
confirm the problem, if I try to disable compiz from the gnome-control-
panel, I can't do it.
