1. Plug a headset of the TRRS kind into your headset jack on the laptop.
2. Get bugged by the annoying "Unknown Audio Device" dialog _every single time_.
Expected behavior:
Ubuntu should just "know" that it's a headset jack. Barring this, the
dialog sho
(I accidentally posted before finishing my post, and there seems to be
no edit function :( )
... Once the user has notified Ubuntu which audio device that has been
connected, Ubuntu should remember this. Getting a pop up every single
time I connect my headset is quite annoying.

I booted a Live CD and split my swap partition into two, leading to the
old UUID being invalid. Doing this makes boot hang at "resume: libgrypt
x.x.x" forever.
Some googling lead me here, but I could not find the file /usr/share
/initramfs-tools/hooks/resume, and could not try the solution sugges
