I've played with the patch and made some updates to it to ensure that it
doesn't have broken links.
Don - the slight concern I have about this is that the list of topics
depends on editing the patch, rather than on documents provided by
ubuntu-docs (via scrollkeeper) as with the previous patch. Th

We haven't actually done this yet, so I'm changing back the bug status.

This bug has now been open for 2 months, and the realistic life of Edgy
will be over in about another 2. I have another update I'd like to do,
but haven't been able to do it because I'm waiting on this bug.
Although I haven't spent that much time preparing these fixes and
chasing this bug around,

Hi Rolf. Please don't confirm your own bugs, that's bad practice and can
be misleading.
The ubuntu-docs package is nowhere near 270MB on the filesystem. The
package states that it is, but it is wrong. That is bug 451764.

I'm not clear what the feature is - it sounds like a regression to me
given that this page has always worked fine in previous releases.
We can update the uris in ubuntu-docs if necessary and I'll take your
word for it that there are advantages to this change, but it's pretty
unfortunate that this
trampster - it's just that the ubuntu-docs project takes care of that
page, so the bug was moved. We'll update the page as soon as possible.
