which I installed in a recent update. Previously I saw no events on my
calendar, now I see them all. I compared my previous calendar.ics file

Probably the same thing happened to me. Let me know if you want the
core file in /var/crash. I suspect it is not an application problem,
since I've gotten cores in several different packages since upgrading to
Karmic.

I backed out the patch, and update manager was still giving the same
error. I shut it down, brought up the Synaptic Package Manager, marked
packages for upgrade, and applied them, which completed with no error.
Just to check, I brought up the update manager, and it is happy now.

I'm not sure these last 2 "apport-collect data" were the same problem
since there was no NetworkManager core. All I know these are the same
types of problems I've seen since upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 where the
GNOME display manager (I guess gdm-simple-slave) just goes away and I
need to log in agai
This bug is also in 14.04. It is not a problem in 12.04 (I just
upgraded from there).
