I've solved it. I had a dream, and as i've blacklisted the integrated
845 video chip, the nvidia card in agp is working well. I think this
should be solved. Its not right that if somebody wants to use an
external card has to go into terminal and blacklist hardware. Should be
done automatically. May

If i plug something in, and than pull it out makes the internal mic
working, but obviously this is an awful solution. It would be so small

I now can confirm, that if UNR freezes down, i plug in a usb drive, it
comes back immediately. The problem must be with some IRQ or USB
controller driver.
Can other users confirm this?

I have a Toshiba nb100 netbook, everything worked fine until i've
upgraded to Karmic. I have now random freezes, sometimes the system is
not even coming back, just hangs. I've the latest bios, did a clean
install, and i have now the latest kernel, still facing problems.

I confirm it worked out for me. 1.60 seems the best BIOS out there for
this netbook.

irqpoll in the kernel parameters seems to have fixed the problem. I'll
test is further, i'm curious if this was the problem (bios not handeling
IRQ?). I'll report back later.

It seems that if i do some change in the hardware configuration of the
netbook (plug in our out eth cable, usb device or whatsoever) the
