Public bug reported:

I have a Toshiba nb100 netbook, everything worked fine until i've
upgraded to Karmic. I have now random freezes, sometimes the system is
not even coming back, just hangs. I've the latest bios, did a clean
install, and i have now the latest kernel, still facing problems.

In dmesg, after having a freeze i see:
[ 166.006210] psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio4/input0 lost
synchronization, throwing 2 bytes away.

What i'm thinking of, is a driver what has been altered, and on this hw
buggy. Its really irritating, please give priority, netooks it one of
the strongest markets for Ubuntu.
