I can reproduce this by running hwdb-kde, waiting for /tmp/hwdb_data.xml
to be created, deleting it, and then clicking on 'view data'. Presumably

Thanks for the additional info, Sven. I set the ubuntu streamripper to
that stream, and got your symptoms on the track 'Lhind - Världen Utanför
(Dreamfactory Radio Mix)'. No backticks, but looks like something hurt
streamripper.
When I took the problem upstream, the reply was "Try using 1.62-beta-
That's good news; to be honest I had no idea how to track it down;

was fixed with a Stable Release Update a few weeks back. Please update
to the latest version of hwdb ( 0.6.10.1), and the problem should go
