Yes, I still have black screen with Intrepid when I try to load it on my disc having still Ubuntu 7.04, either with live CD or with Alternate. I tried to reload and I made twice F6 on first panel. Then I selected acpi=off Then I could load Intrepid, but when restarting it stopped after writing so

That bug is practically the same as Bug Nr. 178896. See correspondence under 178896. I could solve it with the help of Mario. Main problem was apparently concentrated on clocksource. By making clocksource=jiffies when starting I could run the new version and I still operate today with version 8.0
