Public bug reported:

I made updating from Ubuntu 7.04. Everithing OK untill restart of computer.
Then it could not restart : display stayed black with following message :
[ 20.314954] PCI : Cannot allocate resource region 1 of device
0000:00:14.0

Updating made on 27/12/07. No failure in transmitted data since I made
previous attempt on 23/10/07 with exactly same problem.

I had to reload version 7.04 to run again, which could be perfectly loaded.
Impossible to run with updated Ubuntu 7.10
