I've attached the requested dmesg output. This is a fresh install and I
cannot remember whether I ever closed the laptop lid while it was hooked
up to an external display.

I experienced this in Kubuntu 11.04 amd64 fully updated as of
01/31/2011. I opened the font configuration screen, did not change
anything, did not apply any changes nor was I asked to and then logged
out and back in to find my fonts were no longer anti-aliased, etc. I
deleted the .fonts.conf file
This is still an issue in natty, amd64 fully updated as of 01/31/2011.
I also updated bug #69091 as it also caused my fonts to lose anti-
aliasing and other settings just by the creation of the fonts.conf file
after I had entered the font configuration in system settings.

lenovo t410s fails to resume with
This seems to not occur 100% of the time and you can get around it by
just quitting kmail and restarting it. Also, kwallet reports that an
application has been trying to access it without success. No other
application that uses kwallet seems to have this issue.
