changes it back. If I copy the .u1conflict file to it

I just tried the latest quantal kernel, 3.5.0-7, and it continues to
suffer from the issue, while the 3.5.0-030500rc7 kernel continues to
work perfectly. What happens when I try and boot without nomodeset is
after grub, the monitor goes into sleep mode and never wakes up.

What I have noticed is when I hit to bring up the HUD and start
searching for something it seems to be showing me options from the
bluetooth indicator instead of whatever application I am currently
interacting with. I'm not sure if this is a symptom or a different bug

I see the same problem when using my Apple Magic Trackpad with my
desktop. Touchegg doesn't seem to do anything anymore, but it does start
up and runs without errors, it just isn't receiving any input signals to
act on.

The issue here is that when you plug a laptop into an external display
such as an overhead projector, all of your notifications, etc get
displayed on the external projector with no way to change that behavior.

I have this same chipset on my Asus Republic of Gamers motherboard and
use the same Lexar memory card reader and a USB3 external hard drive
without issue. The system runs an updated oneiric install.
